Though only 30 minutes long, this is a good CD for any Metallica fan. It was supposedly recorded in 1981 in a club. It contains Metallica's first 7 songs and the original line-up of:
Lars Ulrich - Drums
James Hetfield - Guitar and Vocals
Ron McGoveny - Bass
Dave Mustaine - Guitar and Vocals
Hetfield sings on most of the songs, but I'm preety sure that Mustaine sings on a few, such as The Mechanix. The Mechanix is the original version of The Four Horsemen before Metallica lengthened the song and changed the lyrics. This CD is no longer carried in most stores. It has been pulled from shelves after Metallica sued the company that makes the CD for copyright infringement. If you can still find a copy, you might want buy it while you can.
Actually, this is the No Life Till Leather Demo with fake crowd noises added. Whenever you hear James talking, that is stuff taken from "Cliff Em All." This forgery (in addition to the copyright infringment) is the reason for Metallica suing the company that put the CD out.
