Even though Dave Mustaine was long gone when they recorded this album, his influence can be heard one of the songs which he helped write: "Ride the Lightning".

What can you say about this album? It is filled with some of Metallica's best songs: "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Fade to Black", and the fan-favorite "Creeping Death". It also contains "Fight Fire with Fire" and "Ride the Lightning". A great album - the first Metallica album that I liked. A classic album that I recommend getting.
