RTCW Enemies: Human
These are the human enemies that you get to kill throughout the game. Don't feel too guilty - they're all Nazis.

Scientist
This is the first enemy that you will encounter in the game; you will see several more throughout the game (especially in Mission 5). They only have a pistol and are easy kills. The first one is so busy experimenting on your friend that you can sneak up on him and knife him in the back.

Workers
You will come across several different types of workers during the game. These include Radio Operators and Mechanics. They are usually preoccupied with some task making them easy targets; if they do notice you, they only have a pistol. Occasionally, a worker will be too terrified to attack. In this situation, they will cower and beg for their life; they may even offer some helpful information in return.

Soldier
Since this is the standard Nazi enemy, you will encounter many of these guys. Each has his own level of inteligence and accuracy (most noticable with snipers). There are several variations of their uniform depending on which area you are in. Soldiers can carry the MP40, Mauser Rifle, or Panzerfaust. In Mission 7, you will encounter a few Elite Soldiers who carry the Sten.

Officer
Easily recognizable from their fancy uniforms (as apposed to the standard issue uniforms that the Soldiers wear), the Officers are probably the least dangerous enemy. Despite having good acuracy, they are usually armed with only a pistol. Ocasionally they are equiped with a MP40, making them more dangerous.

Elite Guard
Aside from the innocent civilians that you can't shoot, Helga von Bulow, and Marianna Blavatsky, the Elite Guards are the only females in the game. They are part of a evil covenant of witches run by High Priestess Marianna Blavatsky. There are a couple of different faces for the Elite Guards, but they all look basically the same. These deadly females use the Sten and the are very accurate with it. Ocassionally (Mission 6, Part 4: Unhallowed Ground for example), they are armed with a Mauser Rifle; they are very good snipers with it. Luckily, you will only encounter them in Mission 2, Part 4: The Defiled Church, the final two parts of Mission 6, and Mission 7, Part 2: Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Paratrooper
You will first encounter the Paratroopers in Mission 3, Part 4: Air Base Assault. This is the only time that you will see them parachuting into the action, but you will encounter these deadly enemies many more times. Appropriately, they carry around the FG42 Paratrooper Rifle. On some rare occasions, they may have a Panzerfaust. This happens in Mission 4, Part 2: The Bombed Factory.

Flame Trooper
The only enemy in the game that carries around Flamethrowers. There are very few of them in the game and they are either alone or supporting some Soldiers. They are very dangerous in tight areas or close quarters; it is best to back away from them and take them out before they can get within flaming range. They wear flame retardant clothing so you can not hurt them with the flamethrower; they also can not acciedently hurt themselves so they are free to flame in any situation. You will first encounter them in Mission 4, Part 1: Kugelstadt.

Venom Trooper
These guys look a lot like the Flame Troopers except they carry around the Venom Minigun. You won't run into many of them, but when you do, it will probably be a group of them. Like the Flame Troopers, they wear flame retardant clothing and cannot be damaged by the flame thrower. They first appear in Mission 5, Part 1: Ice Station Norway.
