Multiplayer Game Modes

The game modes are similar to RTCW with the addition of Campaign mode. The game modes are sumarized below.

  • Objective - This is the main mode from RTCW. There are certain objectives which one team must accomplish in the time limit while the other team attempts to stop them. The game ends when either time runs out or the team accomplishes all of the objectives.
  • Stop Watch - This is also in RTCW. First the teams play until one team accomplished the objectives or time runs out. The teams then switch sides and play the map again. The second team has the same amount of time as the first team took. Whichever team finishes faster wins the match. If neither team can accomplish the objectives, it is a draw.
  • Last Man Standing - In this mode, everyone has 1 life. You try to eliminate the other team. Whichever team is completely eliminated is the loser.
  • Campaign - In this mode, several Objective maps are played one after another. The experience that you earn carries over to the next map. The team that wins the most maps, wins the campaign. The campaigns are 3 maps each; however, a server can set up longer campaigns.
In all modes but Last Man Standing, players respawn when they die. They do not respawn immediatly, but only at set intervals. To respawn at these intervals, you must enter the reinforcement queue when you die. If you have not entered the reinforcement queue, you will not respawn, but you can be revived by a medic. You can not be revived if you have entered the queue. This is something to keep in mind if you are playing on a server with a maximum number of lives.
