Single Player Walkthroughs
Part 1: Escape!
Map Name: escape1
This is a straight forward level that shouldn't be too hard to figure out so instead of wasting space on a walkthrough, I'm just going to give you the locations of the 7 secret areas. They are given in the order that I encountered them.
- After you escape from the dungeon, you will come to a courtyard. Drop into this courtyard and enter the barracks that should be right below you. After killing the guards in there, shoot the floor in between the 2 middle beds to reveal a small cache with some treasure.
- There is a spiral staircase in this level. At the very bottom of this staircase is a wooden barricade that you can shoot out to reveal some 7.92mm ammo for your Mauser Rifle.
- In the same spiral staircase, go into the second room from the top (the radio room). There may be a red light on above the room's door. After killing the guys inside, break the board on the wall to reveal some more treasure.
- One of the coolest scripted events in the game is when some soldiers shoot up through a wooden floor at you. To keep going, you must jump through the hole that they have created. After dropping down, you will notice a door on one end of the hallway and a stone wall on the other end of it. Destroy this wall to reveal a secret room with some supplies.
- There is a room with a gated fire place; there is also a hole in the back of the fireplace showing that there is a room behind it. To get into this room, "use" the crooked candlestick to the left of the room's door. This will cause the wall next to the fireplace to move allowing access to the hidden room.
- In a large room with a fireplace, meals, and a planning board, there is a picture of Hitler on the wall. Break this picture to reveal a cache of treasure.
- Close to the end of the level, there are two indentical carved stones in a wall which faces some windows. These stones have some circles and hieroglyphics carved on them. Press ("use") the one on the left to make the one on the right lower to reveal a hidden room with an alter and some treasure.
