Mission 6: Return Engagement
Part 2: Paderborn Village
  Map Name: village2

As with Mission 3, Part 1: Forest Compound, you can not allow an alarm to be sounded. However, this time you get to do more killing and dont need as much stealth. There is plenty of health and armor in this level, so you should have no problem finishing it with full health and armor. Unless stated otherwise, assume that you should be using a silenced weapon such as the Sten, Silenced Luger, or the Knife.

The rest of the walkthrough is subdivided by the SS Paranormal Operative that you are currently assassinating. All five secrets are also described.

Major Hochstedder
As you make your way past the parked car into the courtyard with a patroling Soldier, head to your right where there is a tree that offers some cover (wait for the Soldier to be in a position where he won't see you). On the wall next to the tree are some stones you can use to climb the wall. Climb up and kill the Soldier.

Head into the house he was patroling in front of and kill the two Officers inside. Proceed upstairs and kill Hochstedder. In his mistress's room there is a footlocker which can be broken open to reveal a treasure filled secret.

General von Stauff
Go back outside and continue down the tunnel. In this passage way, there will be a cellar door on your right. Shoot the lock off of it to enter. This will lead you to a secret room in the alchemist's shop. Kill the alchemist and head out the shop's front door; there is a sniper in a window directly across from this door that you will have to kill (it is ok to use the Mauser Rifle for this). You can climb a pipe up to the sniper's window for the third secret.

Your next stop is the hotel that is along this street. There is one Soldier outside guarding the entrance. There are also two Officers inside in the dining room. General von Stauff is by himself on the third floor.

Colonel Strache
There are several ways to kill Strache which all work equally well. Go to the third floor of the hotel; there is a window which overlook's Strache's house. There is a Soldier guarding the entrance. Your choices are:

  1. Snipe the Soldier with your Mauser Rifle. Strache will hear this and come running outside to see what has happened. Assassinate him when he does.
  2. Kill the Soldier with a silenced weapon (Sten or Snooper Rifler). Go into Strache's house and kill him. He will hear you opening the door and attack you as you enter.
  3. Kill the Soldier with a silenced weapon. Go into the cellar on the other side of Strache's house. From here you can see into his house and shoot him without being noticed.
General Burkhalter
Continue down the ungated path. You will hear Burkhalter on his balcony; do not shoot him from here or the alarm will be sounded. Head into the cellar and kill the Soldier in there. Carefully examine the wine barrels; one of them near the cellar entrance has a button (where the cork normally is) that you can press to open a secret passage. Go up the ladder in this secret area; it will take you right into Burkhalter's house. Go into his room and kill him.

General Haupman
Exit Burkhalter's house from the second floor. The exit goes onto a terrace that is guarder by a Soldier. Be careful - there may be other Soldiers in the courtyard or near the chateau entrance that may see you and attack or try to sound the alarm. You may have to chase them and kill them before they do.

Haupman's house is next to Burkhalter's. There is a cellar next to it; if you go into this cellar, you can kill a Soldier and get the bottle of 1938 Latour that he has. When you enter his house, BUrkhalter will be sitting at his desk directly in front of you. After you kill him, break the painting of Hitler that is behind him and pull the switch that is revealed to open the final secret (a room next to the house's entrance).

Proceed to the chateau entrance and kill any Soldiers that you encounter before they have a chance to sound the alarm.
